Gabrielle Sandor

Gabrielle Sandor (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Guilford College in 2013, and later completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University in 2018.

Gabrielle entered the counseling field in order to help destigmatize the need for therapy within her community. She believes counseling is not a luxury, but a necessity. Gabrielle has a passion for ensuring that individuals within the BIPOC community have a voice regarding their mental health and overall wellbeing.

Gabrielle believes in using an integrative treatment approach and meets every client where they are. She works to ensure an inviting and safe therapeutic space. She utilizes a variety of treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, and solution focused therapy.

Gabrielle’s clinical background includes working with diverse populations that include substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and women’s issues.
